Some dealers rename the Xyron 2500 with other names like CoolLam hoping to confuse customers into thinking they are the only dealers. Xyron 3rd parties their machines for other companies like the CoolLam Cold Laminator and in some cases, the laminate refills for some of these machines are proprietary, meaning they only will fit those models. You’re going to be paying more for the machines and much for for the laminate. If you want a cold laminator you want the manufacturer’s brand – Xyron 1255 (12″), Xyron 2500 (25″) or the Xyron 4400 (38″ & 42″).
